About Amanda
I’m an Ontario-based artist who loves to write, travel, and paint. Alongside my practice, I work in the museum field. With all of these interests, it’s in my blood to be creative.
Painting (with oils, acrylics, spray paint, watercolours) and drawing (graphite, charcoal, crayons, pastel and conte) are the best ways to express my many views on architecture, landscape, and decay. I’m currently engrossed in landscape paintings and photography, all of which range from realism to impressionist and abstraction.
I graduated from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario with a Fine Arts Diploma. I also carry a Bachelor’s in History and English Literature from Laurentian University, and a post-grad certificate in Museum Management and Curatorship from Fleming College.
I take commissions in any form of 2D art, contact me through email in the form below or on my social media pages. Feel free to like my Facebook page Amanda Gallagher: Absinthe & Ink Art or my Instagram @AbsintheAndInkArt as well for in progress updates and upcoming show details.
I love your blog title of Absinthe & Ink — it’s very Left Bank!
Thank you! I try not to hold anything back 🙂
